Dato Lai Kay Lee born in 1963 is an entrepreneur in Malaysia. He started as a sole proprietor in Hoong Lee Trading in Perlis since 1989 and is known as a pioneer in import & export of analog cameras and accessories in both northern Peninsular of Malaysia and Thailand.
He started venturing as a developer and launched his first project in 2007 with warehouses in Padang Besar, Perlis and bungalow housing in Penang Island.
Now his ambition is to diversify his business into Petrol kiosk and Food & Beverage in the northen region of North-South PLUS highway for the convenience of local travelers.
Dato Lai is also an active athlete and has conquer the G7 mountains of Malaysia (the 7 highest mountains of Malaysia). He is also a chairman of the Sawasdee Cup Golf Tournament for more than 10 consecutive years since 2007 a fundraising charity tournament for the whole of Perlis primary schools.
